I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the room. There was a noticeable bad smell, and the floor was not vacuumed at all during my four-night stay (sand remained for three days).

I gotta say, I'm pretty annoyed about a couple things. The promised surprise for our honeymoon never materialized, despite assurances. I even settled for cupcakes, but they never arrived, how pathetic is that. they upped the price for an extra night after initially quoting a lower rate. That extra charge really got to me.

The location was acceptable. It had a shuttle service to both the beach and the mall.
The room was not clean on arrival. There was a noticeable bad smell. They did not vacuum the floor during my four-day stay. Sand remained on the floor for three days.

the team upgraded our room, and we got rooms close together facing the marina on a high floor. the staff showed warmth from the first welcome at the reception desk. i appreciated their professional way of communicating, it was heartwarming.
the gym became crowded during peak hours, requiring a short wait for equipment.

The hotel provided a shuttle to the beach. The marina mall was accessible by shuttle also. I used the gym. It had good equipment. There was complimentary water in the room, nice.
The reception staff seemed unfriendly. I found the working area noisy. The pool was often busy with people wearing full clothing.

I liked the shuttle to the beach. The Marina mall, the gym, and the pool was also good. They gave us free water. There was a shop on the first floor that had fruits.
Staff weren't very helpful. One staff member was rude. They did not keep promises made about honeymoon amenities.

intrusive policyhighway noise
The room i had was quite small, and the decor felt very basic. i found the hotel's policy of having security check the room if it wasn't cleaned for two days somewhat intrusive, even with a prior call. despite requests, my room wasn't always cleaned, despite no 'do not disturb' sign being displayed. This was frustrating. the pool area's proximity to a busy highway meant constant traffic noise, not a relaxing poolside experience at all. the wi-fi internet reception in my room was terrible.
